The UNS designations C60600 to C64400 indicate aluminum bronzes, one of the copper alloy categories. These alloys have about 5-12% aluminum in the composition. Aluminum bronzes are stronger than brasses with better corrosion resistance because of the protective alumina film.
Copper UNS C60800 has good cold workability and fair hot formability.
